Designed as an interactive walking companion, the app maps 280+ co-named street corners honoring civil rights leaders, sports pioneers, school teachers, jazz royalty, and beloved pastors. The app allows users to filter icons by category, discover nearby historical sites, and read stories curated from NYC Council co-naming records. Built on a strict privacy framework, the app requires no accounts or sign-ups, processes location data entirely on-device without external tracking, and turns daily walking into an accessible public education tool.
