SUMMARY:C3 Climate Week CUNY Research Expo
DESCRIPTION:This September\, CUNY Climate Consortium (C3) is teaming up with CUNY PIT Lab to highlight and connect the many ways the CUNY community is participating in Climate Week NYC. \nThis year\, we are excited to host the C3 Climate Week CUNY Research Expo on Wednesday\, September 23 at the NYC PIT Pop Up at the Oculus World Trade Center. We would love to see work from across the CUNY community represented—including graduate and master’s students\, faculty\, research teams and labs\, centers and institutes\, programs\, and initiatives. \nThe Expo is designed as an informal\, public-facing showcase of climate-related work. This might include a research project or body of work\, lab or research group\, center or institute\, ongoing initiative\, dataset\, map or visualization\, tool\, technology\, demonstration\, or another form of climate-related work you would like to share with a broader audience. Anyone within the wider CUNYverse is invited to submit their projects – fill out the form today! \nRather than functioning as a traditional academic conference\, the event will combine an open\, drop-in exhibition throughout the day with two scheduled “PIT Stop” presentation sessions (at 11:30am and 4:30pm)\, creating opportunities for both sustained interaction and short\, focused presentations.
